Get Active with CPF! Skating and Nordic Walking from 1:00 – 2:30 pm

at the Sissons’ skating rink, found behind the school. Bring your own skates and helmet. Some walking poles will be available, but please bring your ski poles, if you have some. Warm up inside at 2pm with hot chocolate.

Fall in love with books!

With the help of the N.W.T. Literacy Council, we are putting on a celebration of Literacy for children in Pre-K to Grade 3 on February 20th from 5-7pm at the Mildred Hall School mini-gym. There will be games such as a giant Snakes and Ladders board and musical cars, as well many prizes of books. This year our focus is on Numerical Literacy and we will celebrate three of the official languages in the Northwest Territories: English, French and Tłįchǫ. Hotdogs and juice will be provided for dinner.

Lego Love at Sissons from 6:30 – 7:45pm in Room 15. Use your imagination to make something unique or build a Lego kit.

On February 23

from 1:00 to 2:30 pm, join us for Storytime: “Souris, Tu Veux un Biscuit?” and surprise activities related to the book with Pre-K teacher Laurence Rivet-Gareau in Sissons’ Room 15. This session is intended for Pre-K to Grade 2 French Immersion children and their families. The session is limited to 12 families.
